Pedalonga is a marathon that takes place at sea with the two-seater pedalo. The pedalo is a pleasure craft propelled by human force which comes from the pedal. It is made of fibreglass and consists of two parallel hulls joined together by a frame which is bound to a paddle blade driven by pedals for power transmission, and a lever that governs the helm of the boat.

The objective is to capture the attention of tourists giving them a range of emotions in participating and, more generally, seeing how an ordinary pedalo can be transformed from a boat into fun and competition. The beach and sea views are the stage, with a series of events designed to liven up the tourists’ beach life.
